Generation 1, Perffaith Legacy

1.2 Promotion!

The barista let Gwen continue to sleep on the couch with the other stray cats, maybe he felt sorry for her, she felt like a stray herself. In the morning light she could see that the cafe clearly helps the large feral cat population on the wharf here. There were food bowls and water dispensers everywhere, and the upstairs was a cat jungle of climbing towers and scratching posts.

Gwen stretched as she woke up from her nap on the couch. As her arms reached up she could smell herself, she had been collecting in the dirt and walking everywhere in the snow. She was also still wearing the same clothes from the day before. Gwen headed for the cafe’s bathroom, she used the toilet and tried to wash the smell off of her in the sink. With a longing look at the cafe’s homemade pastries, she headed out the door with an energized bounce in her step, she was feeling pretty good after her nap. She was off to her first day as a Pallet Cleaner, maybe in the future she would actually be able to touch a brush to canvas.

After working hard all day long Gwen arrived home with a promotion to Art Book Collator! She was dead tired though and needed to sleep right away, maybe she could go back to nap at the Catmosphere since she still had nothing on her lot. Gotta save those simoleons girl!

She headed to the cafe to grab a quick nap after work. When Gwen woke up from her nap she was starving. She knew no one in Brindleton Bay other than the Delgato’s and Father Winter, neither of whom were good marriage candidates. She felt that as a good legacy founder she must produce an heir and with her perfectionist trait she would not settle for non other than an heir with that exemplar trait. She decided to travel to another town that had a lounge with cheap food and drinks.

Gwen chose the Oasis Springs Dust Bowl in Oasis Springs (obviously), unfortunately it was very quite inside. The only person there so far was an old hippy looking guy drinking a beer and watching sports. She saw they were offering free chips to customers and she quickly asked for a bowl. A celebrity had arrived to bowl, but she was far to old and snobby looking to be of interest to Gwen, she finished her chips and since she was still energized from her nap she decided to head to the nightclub next door called Ultra Violet.

Gwen danced and chatted with a few sims at the nightclub, she was having fun and felt better mingling and talking with people after feeling like a stray for so long. She even changed in the bathroom to a warm winter sweater dress. Although the weather was much warmer here than in Brindleton Bay, many of the girls clothing show how warm the weather was!

She didn’t feel like she’d met anyone that gave her butterflies or felt sparks fly yet. She also needed to do her painting for her daily task, so she headed to a new place to paint, Simbucks Coffee. The smell of the rich dark roast was enough to inspire her to paint a large classic painting.

Gwen napped at the coffee shop desperate for a few hours sleep before her next work shift. She really needed to make some simoleons so she can build a house with a bed. At least she was glad she reached level 5 in painting. It’s going much slower without the natural light lot trait. Maybe she will get another promotion today? Gwen’s needs were not looking good from napping on random couches, she was going to have a rough work day.
