Generation 1, Perffaith Legacy

1.11 Birthday Boy

After the birth of Aidan, the Perffaith household went back to normal. The happy parent’s had little time to themselves after caring for their children and their jobs. Both of them were comfortable with their positions in life.

Mark loved caring for Aislinn, while Gwen doted on baby Aidan. They were always at the beck and call of their children. They did however try to be good parents, who raised their children with good skills and manners.

Gwen’s first time cooking in the new kitchen was a little hotter than she was expecting. She was trying a new healthy pan fried fish recipe and it called for a flambe. Unfortunately Gwen just managed to light the pan on fire and not the fish.

Luckily she was able to put out the fire by beating the pan with the metal spatula, gaining her max skill in cooking in the process. Gwen was caught off guard by the fire, and was concerned if there was ever a larger fire that her family would not have known to flee to safety. She must remember to ask Mark to get some smoke detectors and a fire suppression system from the hardware store.

Gwen was really lucky to have Mark, he lived with them and helped tirelessly with the household needs, both financially and with the children. Gwen felt terrible for turning him down and for basically acting like it hadn’t happened afterwards. The local Night on the Town was coming up and the restaurants always had free service that night. Maybe she could take Mark out and show him how much he meant to her.

Before Gwen and Mark went out for Night on the Town, it was Aidan’s toddler birthday! Aidan grew up into an adorable and silly tot, with fiery red hair. Gwen swung her son high above her head, and his laughter echoed around his bedroom. Staring at him, Gwen felt that she was so relieved to have produced a boy, but in her gut she knew she should have a spare male heir.

Mark had been working hard for the family, fixing broken plumbing, cooking and parenting their daughter when Gwen forgot about her. Luckily, the twins loved hanging out with each other, and Aidan’s silliness helped bring Aislinn out of her clingy shell.
